Maydale Mosaic!

This wonderful mosaic was created for Maydale Nature Center by Briggs Chaney Middle School students through EXPLORE Create Connect, a partnership between Briggs Chaney Middle School, Arts on the Block, IMPACT Silver Spring and ClancyWorks Dance Company. Art teacher Anjali Maden led the project and the primary designers were Garshell Shaw, Bryanna Richardson, Mia Lopez, Caitlyn Laws, Ivana Feuzeu and Kiara Castilla-Andrade. It will be installed at Maydale Conservation Park prior to the opening of the new Maydale Nature Center being planned for this fall.
